CAPTAIN/ORGANISER RULES FOR EVENING LEAGUE/RPL
You are responsible to send to the Treasurer a completed Registration form with the Membership Fee for all your players by the 31st October 2021, including any Pool Players.
Failure to do this could result in your team being eliminated from the League.
DUTIES OF EVENING LEAGUE CAPTAINS AND RPL ORGANISER.
- Collect all money from each game and place money collected in the Severn Valley Cupboard with a note of your Team Name and Date clearly marked inside the bag.
- Membership Cards will be issued to paid up Members after the 31st October 2021 and placed in Captain’s Pigeon holes to be distributed.
- Each Evening League Game the Team named first on the fixture will make their Captain responsible for collecting the Key from Reception and ensuring after the game that everything is switched off, the cupboard locked and the key returned back to Reception.
- All games will consist of 4 Triples. If any rink of triples is due to unforeseen circumstances be short of one player, the whole rink concerned will play as follows: Team A (1person short) two players will play with 3 bowls each and team B will play with 2 bowls each, a total of 6 bowls per team. The team short of the one player (Team A) will pay the shortfall of rink fees and also will have one third of the their score deducted.
- Please note once the both team cards have been completed, players and rinks must not be changed.
- All games to commence at 7p.m. and clock to be set for 1hour 55 minutes.
- When the Captain fills in the result sheet and cards PLEASE MAKE SURE FULL NAMES ARE ENTERED ON THE CARDS (not just first name as this will be used for track and trace purposes). Then place the cards with the result sheet in the appropriate pigeon hole.
- THE ORGANISER/CAPTAIN is responsible for their team and any damage to equipment caused by their team must be paid to the Club for any costs incurred caused by damage to equipment by the team concerned.
- Individual Players are advised that should excessive force be used in firing shots and that shot is considered by others to be unnecessarily forceful they may, if a third party is injured, be deemed to be acting in a “RECKLESS MANNER” and could find themselves being the subject of Legal Action by the injured person.
- A decision had been made at the AGM that any team playing a non-paid up member in a League Match will have 4 points deducted, and the player will be disqualified from the League for that season.
FEES: TEAM FEE FOR EVENING LEAGUE £36.00 per team (£3 PER PLAYER)
SESSION FEE RPL £3 PER PLAYER
AFFILIATION FEE £25.00 PER MEMBER
